Following the Covenant School mass shooting, and the subsequent response on the part of Republican lawmakers (passing bills that put more guns in schools and make it easier for more young people to legally carry guns, as well as expelling the most outspoken black male representatives for peacefully protesting this), SUN HERON has begun writing and releasing new protest music in the style of the 1960s folk music revival and civil rights movement. These songs are being released as soon as they are recorded, and can already be heard on all major music services, as well as protests and rallies in Nashville, TN.
